Job Description

We are seeking a talented PHP Developer to support the development of a new and exciting business solution as well as to provide support and development services. This individual will work to add functionality to new projects as well as to provide support for existing product lines as needed. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, extensive PHP development experience, and will be able to get up to speed quickly.

Required Skills

We're looking for a PHP developer with a proven track record for creating efficient, scalable, and manageable enterprise-level systems using open source technologies. The right individual for this role will keep up to date with new and emerging technologies while sharing that knowledge with the team, contributing to an environment built on innovation. Extra attention will be given for individuals with HTML5, Linux, JavaScript, MS SQL Server, XML and JQuery.

Requirements:


• Experience with PHP, SQL, Linux, Apache Server, server administration, and hardware experience


• Familiarity with APIs, web services, JQuery, web design and database design.


• Experience working within a team setting


• History of successful schedule and budget management


• Solid trouble shooting, bug tracking, and quality assurance methodologies


• Understanding of / experience with unit testing and source code control


• Able to stay ahead of the curve with new and emerging technologies


• Knowledge of industry, able to make recommendations to customize solutions for the company and its customers.


• Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent experience is preferred.

Bonus Skills


• Web Services - Experience building modern web services using XML.


• Work with digital devices and network appliances connecting to enterprise business systems.
