– Patent Specialist (Experienced)

Position:
Patent Specialist / Senior Patent Associate

Experience:
3–7 years

Location:
Remote

Key Responsibilities

1.Independently draft high-quality patent specifications for technical inventions in domains such as engineering, software, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.

2.Manage the full lifecycle of patent filing, including drafting, reviewing, filing, publication, and prosecution.

3.Conduct advanced prior art searches, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analysis, and patent landscape studies.

4.Review and mentor junior team members in drafting and patent-related processes.

5.Liaise with inventors, R&D teams, and external patent attorneys to ensure high-quality filings.

6.Stay updated with evolving global patent laws, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

1.Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Engineering, Science, Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, or related field.

  1. 3–7 years of hands-on experience in patent drafting and publication.

3.Solid understanding of international patent systems (USPTO, EPO, PCT, IPO, etc.).

4.Proven track record of successful patent filings and granted patents.

5.Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills.

6.Ability to handle multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
