Role & responsibilities

1. Machine Operation

  • Operate Tetra Pak aseptic filling machines (TBA/TCA/Tetra Brik/Tetra Classic).
  • Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and line adjustments.
  • Monitor filling, sealing, and packaging processes to ensure smooth operation.
  • Conduct format changeovers and machine set-up as per production plan.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Carry out preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance on Tetra Pak machinery.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation issues.
  • Replace faulty components, calibrate sensors, and adjust machine parameters.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure minimum downtime.

3. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure the line is operated within GMP, HACCP, ISO, and safety guidelines.
  • Check product quality parameters such as sealing integrity, sterilization, and packaging quality.
  • Maintain aseptic conditions and assist with CIP/SIP procedures.
  • Record production data, downtime, and maintenance logs.

4. Productivity & Efficiency

  • Monitor line performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reduce wastage and maximize machine efficiency (OEE).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen & RCA.

5. Safety & Documentation

  • Follow plant safety procedures and ensure safe working practices.
  • Maintain daily reports, logbook entries, and machine history records.
  • Assist in preparing SOPs for machine operation and maintenance.
