Location: Vallichira, Pala, Kottayam Dst.

Salary: ₹ 8, ₹25,000.00/- per month

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor and Draughtsman to join our growing team. This dual-role position requires expertise in both technical drafting and cost estimation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating detailed drawings and conducting accurate quantity take-offs, budgeting, and cost control for construction projects.

Quantity Surveyor Duties:

• Prepare quantity take-offs and bills of quantities (BOQ) from drawings and specifications
• Estimate costs for materials, labor, and equipment
• Assist in budget planning, tender preparation, and cost analysis
• Track project expenses and provide cost control recommendations
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and site teams for cost tracking and verification
• Evaluate variations and prepare payment certificates and reports

Key Responsibilities:Draughtsman Duties:

• Prepare detailed architectural and sanction drawings using AutoCAD or relevant software
• Convert sketches, site measurements, and specifications into technical drawings
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy
• Update drawings to reflect design changes and maintain drawing records
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and project standards

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Strong knowledge of estimation techniques and construction methods
• 0-3 years of experience in quantity surveying and drafting
• Proficient in MS Excel and quantity surveying software
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with local construction codes and tendering procedures
• Ability to multitask and handle site-based and office-based responsibilities
• Strong communication skills to coordinate across departments
