Job Description:

Department: SCM - PPIC

Designation: Executive / Asst ManagerQualification: BE with MBA

Division: Pharma, Preferably from Formulation background.

Exp: 2-5 Years (Exe) / 5-7 Years (Asst Mgr)

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare short-term and long-term production schedules based on market demand, forecasts, and available capacity.
2. Coordinate with manufacturing, QA/QC, engineering, and procurement to align production priorities.
3. Ensure adherence to cGMP timelines and regulatory requirements during planning.
4. Maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials, APIs, packaging materials, and finished goods.
5. Prevent both stock outs (which can delay production) and overstocking (which increases holding cost and risk of expiry)
6. Conduct regular inventory reconciliation with warehouse and ERP system ( E.g., SAP, Oracle).
7. Generate and track MRP based on Bill of Materials (BOM), batch size, and production plan.
8. Ensure timely procurement of materials by coordinating with the purchase team.
9. Coordinate initial planning and material readiness for validation, pilot and commercial batches.
10. Track regulatory timelines and ensure production readiness aligned with approvals.
11. Analyze production efficiency, inventory trends, capacity utilization, and batch cycle times.
12. Generate MIS reports for management review.
13. Track finished goods availability and ensure timely dispatch as per customer and market commitments.
14. Coordinate with QA for timely batch release and with logistics for transport planning.
15. Ensure proper documentation of planning, material issuance, inventory movement, and reconciliation in compliance with cGMP.
16. Participate in audits (internal, customer, regulatory) by providing data and records related to production and inventory.
