Job Title: Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) Tester

Experience Required:
  • Overall IT Experience: 48 years
  • Relevant Experience in OFSAA/Financial Domain Testing: 3+ years
Job Responsibilities:
  1. **Testing & Quality Assurance:**
  2. Conduct test designing, test execution, and defect management.
  3. Prepare periodic and regular reports, dashboards, and defect tracking summaries.

  4. Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  5. **Domain Expertise:**

  6. Work on banking and financial domain modules, including ETL testing and data validation.

  7. Understand and analyze business requirements (FSDs, TSDs) for developing test strategies.

  8. **Technical Skills:**

  9. Hands-on experience with tools like **JIRA**, **Zephyr**, and **Confluence** for test management and reporting.

  10. Develop and maintain JIRA-based dashboards and defect tracking mechanisms.

  11. **Banking Modules and Projects:**

  12. Work on areas such as:
  13. **General Ledger Reconciliations**
  14. **Reports Data Mart (Business Segment, Product Profitability, Client Profitability)**
  15. **MIS Loans/Deposits**, FX Calculations, Average Daily Balance, etc.

  16. **Fund Transfer Pricing** and Cost Allocation Reports

  17. **Collaboration and Communication:**

  18. Act as a bridge between Test Managers, Business Teams, and Project Teams.

  19. Ensure timely communication of defects and test progress to all stakeholders.

  20. **Testing Strategy & Transformation:**

  21. Participate in designing and implementing testing transformation initiatives.
  22. Provide recommendations on improving testing metrics, strategies, and plans.
Skills and Requirements:
  • Proficient in test designing and execution for OFSAA-related projects.
  • Strong knowledge of **ETL Testing**, Data Governance, and Data Quality processes.
  • Familiarity with banking terminologies and reporting standards.
  • Experience in metrics-driven testing processes.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Good understanding of profitability metrics, cost allocation methodologies, and related financial reports.
  • Ability to work independently and consult on improving testing processes.
