Radiology Manager

Responsibilities

• Facilitating effective communication and resolving conflicts within the department and across the hospital.
• Supervise and manage radiology staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance
• Ensure quality patient care by developing, implementing, and evaluating processes and procedures
• Maintain compliance with Local and state regulations, as well as safety and quality standards
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, including monitoring spending, analyzing financial data, and making recommendations for cost-saving measures
• Oversee the procurement and maintenance of radiology equipment and supplies
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and departments to coordinate patient care and services
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to practices, equipment, and procedures
• Monitor and evaluate departmental performance metrics, and make changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field
• Current certification as a radiologic technologist
• 8-10 years of experience in a radiology department is mandatory
• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Local & state regulations and safety and quality standards
• Proficient in using radiology equipment and software
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
