Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio Developer /Leads to design, develop, and support data integration and ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio, solid SQL skills, and a good understanding of data warehousing concepts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Ab Initio.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries on relational databases such as Oracle, Teradata, or SQL Server.
  • Implement data warehousing solutions including ETL, data integration, and dimensional modeling.
  • Monitor, schedule, and troubleshoot batch jobs using scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys.
  • Work with Unix/Linux scripting for automation and operational support.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Perform data validation, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain version control and follow development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Ab Initio development.
  • Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server).
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience with job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys).
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting.
  • Familiarity with version control systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise data platforms.
