Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and experienced Bakery Chef to lead the preparation of high-quality baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts. The ideal candidate is passionate about baking, innovative in recipe creation, and capable of managing production efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods.
- Develop new recipes and seasonal menu items aligned with current trends and customer preferences.
- Maintain consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all baked goods.
- Ensure all bakery operations comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Oversee kitchen inventory, order supplies, and manage waste to control costs.
- Supervise and train junior bakers or kitchen assistants as required.
- Monitor baking schedules to ensure timely production and availability of fresh products.
- Decorate pastries and cakes creatively, as needed for events or custom orders.
- Collaborate with management to improve product offerings and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bakery chef, pastry chef, or baker (minimum 2–4 years preferred).
- Formal culinary or baking education is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough preparation, and pastry decoration.
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., mixers, ovens, proofers).
- Creativity, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25, ₹40,000.00 per month
