Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – Prophet Developer

Prophet developer primarily designs, develops, and implements actuarial models using the Prophet software suite, often within the insurance or financial services industry. They are responsible for building, testing, and maintaining these models, which are used for tasks like profit testing, reserving, asset liability modeling, and risk management. They also play a key role in integrating these models with other business systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Development:

Building and customizing actuarial models using Prophet, including tasks like programming, data mapping, and testing.

• Integration:

Integrating Prophet models with other systems (e.g., other software applications, databases) to facilitate data flow and streamline processes.

• Testing and Debugging:

Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of models by conducting thorough testing and resolving any issues.

• Documentation:

Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for Prophet models, including specifications, configurations, and integration details.

• Training and Support:

Providing training and support to users on how to effectively use and interpret Prophet models.

• Collaboration:

Working closely with actuaries, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

• Compliance:

Ensuring that Prophet models and processes adhere to relevant regulations and standards.

• Staying Updated:

Keeping abreast of new developments and best practices in actuarial modeling and the Prophet software.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficiency in Prophet:

Deep understanding of the Prophet software suite, including its features, functionalities, and capabilities.

• Actuarial Knowledge:

Strong understanding of actuarial principles and practices, including those related to life insurance, annuities, or other relevant financial products.

• Programming Skills:

Familiarity with programming languages used in Prophet development, such as Delphi or C#, is often required.

• Problem-Solving:

Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions
