1. Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop detailed execution plans and schedules for fabrication projects.

• Use tools like MS Project or Primavera to track timelines and milestones.

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams to align schedules.

2. Material Planning

• Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) based on fabrication drawings.

• Ensure timely procurement of stainless-steel sheets, pipes, fittings, and consumables.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the stores department.

3. Resource Allocation

• Plan manpower, machines, and tools required for each stage of fabrication.

• Optimize resource usage to avoid bottlenecks and delays.

4. Production Coordination

• Issue job cards and work instructions to the shop floor.

• Monitor daily progress and ensure adherence to the plan.

• Resolve any execution-related issues in real-time.

5. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure fabrication activities comply with quality standards (e.g., ASME, AWS, ISO).

• Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections and documentation.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of production progress, delays, and corrective actions.

• Generate daily/weekly reports for management and clients.

7. Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Attend project review meetings with clients and consultants.

• Provide updates on execution status and address concerns.

8. Continuous Improvement

• Analyse past project data to improve planning accuracy.

• Suggest process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
