Qualifications
Education :
Bachelor's degree with Post graduation in HR/IR.
Experience :
Two – three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, write and understand documents in English, Hindi, Marathi
Ability to speak effectively in English, Hindi and Marathi.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- To understand and implement directives & Policies of the Company and advising departmental Managers of Company HR policy.
- Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
- Conduct reference checks and verification of documents of new recruits.
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude towards the Company.
- Analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required under Shops & Establishment Act and Factories Act.
- Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as Medical insurance, Gratuity, Superannuation.
- Advises the Management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Administers performance Management System.
- Monthly salary/wages working.
- Working of Bonus/ ex gratia as per the Management decision.
- Administers and maintain record of leave, LTA, Loans and other employee benefits and assistance.
- Maintain office discipline and decorum.
- Initiate disciplinary action if required and issue counseling, warning, showcause, chargesheets as per the Act and in consultation with Labour Lawyer.
- Prepare leave forecast at the beginning of the year.
- Prepare Holiday list for all the units, branches before 25th Dec every year and circulate the same to all units after MDs approval.
- Send Yearly data for working out the premium of Gratuity and Superannuation.
- Represents organization at personnel-related hearings, enquiries and investigations.
- Contracts with outside agencies to provide employee services, such as temporary employees, maintenance contracts, Car Hire, Travel services etc.
- Arrange for various Company conferences, Review meetings, Training programmes and make all the necessary arrangements for venue, stay, travel, training etc.
- Keep all the Assets movable and non movable adequately insured. For this purpose assess the risk factors with the help of Insurance Assessors, get competitive quotes and finalise the insurance.
- Independently handle all activities
