We are seeking a 2D Animator with a strong grasp of animation principles, keen attention to detail, and a passion for creating fluid, dynamic animations. You'll work on a wide variety of projects, from short-form digital content and advertisements to longer animations for film and television. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both traditional and digital animation techniques and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Create 2D animations from scratch, including character animation, environmental elements, and visual effects.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop animation concepts, storyboards, and style guides.
  • Animate characters and scenes based on provided storyboards and and feel of the project.
  • Ensure animations are high-quality, meet deadlines, and are consistent with the creative direction.
  • Stay updated on animation trends, techniques, and tools to continuously improve the quality of work.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (at least 2 years) as a 2D Animator, with a strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing a variety of animation work.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Toon Boom, Adobe Animate, After Effects, TVPaint).
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and movement.
  • Ability to create fluid, expressive, and polished animations.
  • Knowledge of 2D rigging and skeleton animation is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a creative team.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with storyboard creation or script writing.
  • Familiarity with 3D software (even basic knowledge).
  • Experience in designing characters or backgrounds for animation.
  • Ability to adapt to different animation styles based on client needs.
