EEG Technician

• Patient Preparation: Explain the procedure to patients, address concerns, and position them comfortably for the test.
• Equipment Setup: Apply electrodes to the patient's scalp and set up the EEG equipment.
• Test Performance: Operate the EEG machine to record brainwave activity, monitor the patient for safety, and make adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Data Quality: Monitor results in real-time and recognize abnormalities or artifacts in the recordings.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine calibrations, preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues with the equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test results, equipment maintenance, and patient information, ensuring confidentiality.
• Physician Collaboration: Communicate with physicians regarding diagnostic findings and assist in preparing the test for physician interpretation.
