Automation Test Engineer
to join our team for an exciting project with
IBM
and their
end client, Shell
.

Key Responsibilities:

Work as part of an Agile/Scrum feature team (5–7 members) including developers, testers, and specialists.

Collaborate with Test Manager, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to assess test scenarios and define requirements using risk-based testing methodology.

Plan and perform end-to-end testing activities, including test script development, test execution, and defect management.

Design and develop test strategy, test plan, test conditions, test scripts, test data, and expected results across test streams (Product Test, Integration Test, Technical Test, Deployment Test).

Execute detailed functional test cases for complex requirements.

Ensure test delivery assurance by complying with Shell's standard tools and frameworks.

Identify and implement process improvements to optimize delivery and ensure timely, quality outputs.

Communicate effectively with management, peers, and team members, both verbally and in writing.

Proactively flag risks, propose mitigation strategies, and work effectively in uncertain/ambiguous environments.


Required Skills:

Strong expertise in
Python
.

7+ years
in QA with at least
4 years in Selenium BDD framework
.

Hands-on experience in QA automation of
Web Applications, Web Services, and REST APIs
.

Proficient in
SDLC
and
Manual Testing
.

Experience in test design and execution (manual & automation).

Skilled in
Automation & Quality Engineering Tools/Methods
(Selenium, Python, BDD frameworks like SpecFlow/Python Behave).
