  • To design, develop and implement all electrical electronic features in the particular platform vehicle meeting all regulatory standards/requirements with in project time line. Initiate, interact with CFT.
  • Lead the design engineers for system integration to realise the required Electricals and Electronics feature with Quality, Cost and Time.
  • Driving end to end product conceptualization, design guidance, design review, development, validation and delivery.
  • Execution of project activities by coordinating with multiple stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Work with systems like HVAC, safety system etc so to compile the complete vehicle architecture from Electricals and Electronics stand point and identify the design validation plan at bench level.
  • Knowledge on electrical systems on harness, switches, lighting system, machines, display, subsystem of the vehicle to work out the interface architecture for the vehicle and on all communication protocols like CAN LIN to basic extent.
  • Review calculations for respective E&E systems and be ready to consult on issues that arise on the production floor. Field failure analysis on the field and report concerns and giving solution to reduce/eliminate it and also capturing that particular issue in upcoming products.
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of problem solving ability, especially in the field of expertise.Sound in all types of inhouse testing like Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) , Model-in-Loop (MIL ). Aware of all IS or Indian regulatory standards.
RequirementsTechnical:
  • As a technical leader; finalize overall system architecture, review and release all the artifacts from the team to serial production.
  • Be torchbearer to maintain design standards and methods followed in the team.
  • Kowledge of SOLIDWORKS and CATIA. Worked on BOM details of components.
  • Usage of Quality tools, DFMEA, Design Reviews Project management In depth understanding of APQP processes and PPAP realted activities.
Experience
  • 14 years plus experience in the automotive sector prior experience in EV industry experience will be added advantage.
  • Knowledge on all Electricals and Electronics systems to formulate the complete electronic vehicle architecture by capturing all hardware, software logics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
