Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Supervisor based in Chennai. The Site Supervisor will oversee daily construction activities, monitor work progress, and ensure that materials and labor adhere to quality and safety standards. They will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and consultants to implement project specifications and deliverables effectively. Additional responsibilities include managing project timelines, resolving on-site issues, reporting progress to management, and supervising a trained team to achieve project quality and performance objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in site supervision, construction management, and ensuring compliance with construction project standards and safety regulations.
  • Strong skills in team coordination, leadership, and interpersonal communication, including the ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and consultants.
  • Technical knowledge of construction chemicals, application systems, and understanding of material usage for various stages of construction.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to address on-site challenges while maintaining time and resource efficiency.
  • Experience in preparing reports, managing project schedules, and ensuring efficient worksite operations.
  • Educational background in Civil Engineering or related fields is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the construction industry, particularly in a supervisory role, is desirable.
