Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and driven Junior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Hyderabad. You will work closely with our engineering and infrastructure teams to automate deployments, manage CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high availability of our applications. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to learn from senior engineers, take ownership of deployments, and contribute to real-world projects from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Support deployment and monitoring of applications on AWS / Azure / GCP / on-prem environments
  • Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or similar IaC tools
  • Monitor application health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices in DevOps and security
  • Maintain documentation for systems and deployment processes
  • Troubleshoot issues across dev, staging, and production environments

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems
  • Hands-on experience with Git and version control systems
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools, cloud platforms, and scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Docker and container concepts
  • Enthusiastic about automation and keen to learn DevOps tools and processes
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred (Good to Have):

  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Datadog
