EDP Executive / Electronic Data Processing Specialist

Job Summary

The Electronic Data Processing (EDP) Executive is responsible for the efficient management and processing of electronic data to support various business operations. This role is crucial for maintaining data accuracy, security, and the optimal performance of data-related systems and hardware.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management & Integrity:
• Accurately input, process, and manage electronic data across various systems and databases (e.g., ERP, spreadsheets).
• Conduct regular data audits to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Generate and analyze reports to provide insights for management and support decision-making processes.
• System and Network Maintenance:
• Monitor and maintain the performance of data processing systems, including hardware, software, and local networks.
• Perform routine troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to data processing, workstations, and peripheral devices (e.g., printers, routers).
• Manage and maintain server data, including daily data backups and data restoration when required.
• Install, configure, and manage operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and other software (e.g., MS Office).
• Security and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
• Implement and manage basic security measures, such as antivirus software and access controls.
• Handle and maintain specialized systems like CCTV, biometric devices, and EPBX systems.
• Support and Coordination:
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on data entry procedures and system usage.
• Coordinate with IT teams, data analysts, and software developers to address system discrepancies and implement new solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
