Spotlight Strategic Partners is a VC Fund investing in early stage startups. Spotlight's Incubator is a founder-first platform designed to help ambitious entrepreneurs accelerate their growth. Spotlights incubation program is a 3 months in-person program for early stage startups to get advice & actionable insights on product, GTM, business & fund raising.

The program hosts many successful entrepreneurs in technology & consumer space to interact with incubated startups. We now looking for a
Startup Incubation Manager
who will be at the heart of this ecosystem — leading our incubation programs, curating promising startups, and building an inspiring community.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Startup Incubation Manager located in Mumbai. The Startup Incubation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the incubation process of startups, which includes providing mentorship, guidance, and resources to help them grow and succeed. The manager will assist startups in developing business plans, accessing funding opportunities, and networking with industry professionals. Additionally, the role will involve organizing workshops and events, monitoring startup progress, and ensuring that the startups meet their milestones.

Key Responsibility

• Program Management:
  Design, launch, and manage incubation & acceleration programs tailored for early-stage startups.
• Outreach & Applications:
  Build and execute outreach strategies to attract high-potential startups through partnerships, events, online campaigns, and ecosystem networks.
• Startup Curation & Selection:
  Evaluate, shortlist, and onboard startups into incubation programs, ensuring quality and alignment with Spotlight's focus areas.
• Founder Support:
  Work closely with startups to understand their challenges and connect them with relevant mentors, investors, and resources.
• Community Building:
  Create a vibrant startup community through events, networking sessions, workshops, and founder meetups.
• Investor & Mentor Relations:
  Engage with angel investors, VCs, corporates, and domain experts to create a strong support ecosystem.
• Ecosystem Partnerships:
  Collaborate with universities, accelerators, industry associations, and corporates for joint initiatives.
• Operational Excellence:
  Oversee daily operations of the incubation center, including startup onboarding, progress tracking, and reporting outcomes.

Background & Experience

• 4–6 years of experience in
  startup ecosystem roles
  (incubators, accelerators, VC firms, or entrepreneurial experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of
  startup fundraising, selection, and scaling strategies.
• Ability to design and execute
  outreach campaigns to attract quality startup applicants.
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
• Passion for startups, founders, and the early-stage ecosystem.
