Job Description:
● 7-12 years of overall industry experience in designing, developing, and deploying ETL
solutions using industry-standard ETL tools.
● 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing and productionizing solutions with Talend
Data Integration.
● Extensive experience in designing end-to-end transformations and workflows using
Talend Data Integration, as per requirement specifications.
● Experience with Talend Data Mapper OR working with XML data structures is mandatory.
● Deep SQL knowledge and experience with scripting a MUST.
● Good understanding of Java and hands-on experience with using Java functions in
Talend.
● Experience in leading small teams of 2-3 developers, conducting code quality reviews and
recommending best practices.
● Ability to understand customer's requirements and to translate them into functional, data
mapping/transformation requirement and mapping specifications.
● Good knowledge of MS-Office tools.
● Excellent communications skills in spoken and written English.
● Personal skills: Independent worker with outside the box thinking and a can-do attitude.
● Excellent analytical skills.
Skills / Requirements (Added advantage):
● Industrial engineering or computer science graduate - advantage
● Experience with Talend Data Quality component is an added advantage
● Good knowledge of the insurance business (experience in the actuarial or insurance
fields) – advantage.
● Experience with information systems (such as ERP) at a super user level - advantage
● Ability to understand data models and complex data structures
● Deep SQL knowledge – Must
