The VAVE Engineer is responsible for all deliverables of assigned commodity like idea generation, execution & implementation.

Your Tasks:

• As VAVE engineer perform Cost down related activities. Achieve targets in respective cluster which was agreed according to OP planning year on year.
• Execute the project plan, implement mechanisms to measure, record progress, and conduct ongoing analysis of, risks, and changes, as well as update/revise the project plan and report status.
• Perform design optimization and support VAVE activities to reduce the cost. Manage Stake holders with communication and deliverables - Timelines, change requests, Project status etc.
• Coordinating with cross-functional team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Strategic partner for VAVE Team leaders in locations (worldwide; member of the Value Management Team). Idea Generation & assist in continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance of E-machines (evd).
• Conduct Innovation workshops with Internal & External stake holders (suppliers) for Cost Down ideas. Benchmarking of Competitor products and propose feasible cost saving measures for Electric vehicles & E-machines.
• Apply Value Engineering, Design to Cost methods to generate technical ideas by understanding product requirements. Gain approvals to Engineering change requests, Schneko update/revise the project plan and report status to VMT Team. Make Engineering drawings and necessary calculations required to support the generated idea towards feasibility. 

Your Profile:

• Full time Graduation in Electronics engineering, Electrical engineering, Mechatronics.
• 4 – 10 years of experience in Automatic Transmissions, E-mobility devices design & Value Engineering activities, Project management. 
• Cost down & Cost estimation of Electronics & relevant Mechanical components. Knowledge on electronic products like Automotive Inverter, Electric motors, batteries, E-mobility devices.
• Knowledge on MHEV, PHEV & BEV's. Knowledge on manufacturing processes and best practices of automotive electronic parts.
• Commitment to excellence and personal and professional growth.
