Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end DevOps solutions that support scalable and secure software delivery.
  • Lead the development of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Architect infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • Define and enforce DevOps best practices including automated testing, deployment strategies, and observability.
  • Work with development and operations teams to ensure systems are designed for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Lead cloud infrastructure design and migration strategies on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Drive automation in configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Establish robust monitoring and alerting systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
  • Implement security best practices across the DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps).
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the organization's engineering culture and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a senior DevOps/Architect role.
  • Deep experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven expertise in CI/CD, IaC, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Groovy, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and serverless frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
