About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to lead backend development initiatives and manage a team of Python engineers. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing scalable backend systems, managing deployments on Linux and Kubernetes environments, and driving best practices in coding, architecture, and security. This position requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and hands-on problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Python developers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Manage application deployments, configuration, and performance tuning in Linux environments.

- Deploy, scale, and monitor applications on Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, ensuring system reliability and uptime.

- Collaborate closely with DevOps and cloud teams to maintain CI/CD workflows and streamline deployment pipelines.

- Implement and uphold best practices for code quality, security, and performance optimization.

- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root causes, and provide effective resolutions.

- Participate in architectural discussions, system design reviews, and technical planning.

Required Skills and Experience :

years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python.

- Strong expertise with Python frameworks Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Proficient in Linux system administration and performance management.

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) for application deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.

- Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.

- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications :

- B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerized environments.
