Role Description

As an
HCC Medical Coder
at Alpine Pro Health Inc., you will play a critical role in supporting accurate risk adjustment and revenue cycle integrity. Your responsibilities will include reviewing patient charts, abstracting diagnoses, and ensuring precise coding aligned with ICD-10-CM guidelines and CMS HCC models. You will collaborate with our compliance and clinical teams to maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and regulatory adherence while contributing to improved patient risk profiling and RAF score calculations.

Qualifications

  • CPC certification (AAPC)
    or equivalent credential, with up-to-date knowledge.
  • Proven experience in
    HCC Coding and Risk Adjustment models
    .
  • Strong expertise in
    ICD-10-CM coding guidelines
    and chart abstraction.
  • Familiarity with
    EMR/EHR systems
    and coding workflows.
  • High level of
    attention to detail
    and accuracy.
  • Excellent understanding of
    compliance requirements
    in risk adjustment coding.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a focus on quality and results.
