UI/UX Developer

1. Role Overview

The UI/UX Designer is responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered, and visually appealing digital experiences. This role demands the ability to convert ideas, requirements, and concepts into effective designs using industry-standard tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Photoshop, and AI-powered design tools. The designer must collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality interfaces for web, mobile, and product applications.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. User Experience (UX) Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and gather insights to guide design decisions.
• Create user personas, user journeys, sitemaps, and task flows.
• Develop low-fidelity wireframes and convert them into high-fidelity prototypes.
• Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to translate thoughts into design concepts.
• Test designs through usability testing and iterate based on feedback.

B. User Interface (UI) Responsibilities

• Design visually appealing, brand-aligned UI layouts for web and mobile applications.
• Create responsive designs for multiple screen sizes and devices.
• Design icons, illustrations, animations, and graphical elements using Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and Photoshop.
• Ensure pixel-perfect design implementation with attention to spacing, typography, color, and visual hierarchy.
• Prepare design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components in Figma.

C. Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Deliver Figma prototypes, design assets, and documentation to developers.
• Participate in review meetings, provide design rationale, and incorporate feedback.
• Ensure that final designs meet usability, accessibility, and branding guidelines.

D. AI & Productivity Skills

• Use AI design tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly, etc.) to create concepts, mockups, and design variations.
• Improve workflows using AI prompts for graphic generation and design enhancement.
• Stay updated on AI-driven UI/UX practices and integrate them into the design process.

3. Required CompetenciesA. Technical Competencies

Candidate is expected to have advanced proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, component creation, and building design systems. They should possess intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, along with intermediate-level expertise in Adobe Photoshop and CorelDRAW for graphic and visual design tasks. Knowledge of AI-based design tools such as Midjourney, Firefly, and similar platforms at an intermediate level is also required. The designer must be highly capable in wireframing and prototyping, with an advanced understanding of responsive and mobile UI design principles. Additionally, the candidate should have intermediate-level experience in UX research and documentation, as well as visual design and branding to create consistent and appealing interfaces.

5. Experience Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX projects and conceptual-to-design thinking.
• Practical experience collaborating with developers and product teams.

6. Education (Optional)

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related fields
• Certification in UI/UX tools or design courses (added advantage)
