Role: Linux AdminLocation: Mumbai, KolkataExperience Range: 8 to 12 yearsJob Description:System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu Server). Patch Management and Security: Implement and manage security patches, updates, and vulnerability remediation across Linux systems. Develop and implement scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks and system administration processes.

Virtualization: Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and managing Linux virtual machines. Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Linux systems and applications. Work closely with other IT team members, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operation of IT infrastructure.

Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl. Proven experience as a Linux Administrator, with a strong understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line interface. Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Relevant certifications (e.g., LPIC, Red Hat Certified Engineer - RHCE). Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.

Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment. Linux Administration LVM(Logical Volume Manager) administration, user management, suse manager administration, exposure to yum, zypper, rpm, security hardening. Evaluates new technologies and develops departmental standard practices to insure SOX and PCI compliance.
