Educational Qualification: BE/MCA/ME/M Tech/MSc

Job Summary: The L2/L3 Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of networking products, focusing on Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies. This role involves developing test plans, executing tests, and identifying issues to ensure that networking products meet or exceed quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Test Plan Development:

  2. Create comprehensive test plans for L2/L3 network protocols and features.

  3. Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies.

  4. Test Execution:

  5. Perform manual and automated testing of networking products.

  6. Conduct performance, scalability, and stress tests to evaluate product limits.

  7. Issue Identification and Reporting:

  8. Identify, document, and track software and hardware defects.

  9. Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

  10. Automation:

  11. Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for L2/L3 functionalities.

  12. Integrate automated tests into continuous integration (CI) systems.

  13. Compliance and Standards:

  14. Ensure products comply with industry standards and protocols.

  15. Stay updated with the latest advancements in L2/L3 technologies and apply relevant knowledge to testing processes.

  16. Collaboration:

  17. Work with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and customer support.

  18. Provide input and feedback to improve product quality and testing methodologies.
