Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Quality Analyst to join our team in Hyderabad. This role is open for flexible engagement including full-time, part-time, and remote work, as well as internship and freelance opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong foothold in quality assurance processes, a passion for ensuring software excellence, and proficiency in essential testing tools and methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in selenium to automate browsers and execute tests without human intervention, ensuring software usability and performance.
  • Skilled in api testing to guarantee seamless functionality, reliability, and performance of web services across various applications.
  • Experience with postman for designing, executing, and managing comprehensive API tests, enhancing testing efficiency.
  • Competence in load testing techniques to assess software under anticipated user loads and identify potential bottlenecks and issues.
  • Effective test documentation skills to record detailed insights, ensuring every phase is trackable and auditable for continuous improvements.
  • Ability to create detailed test case design to cover various software functionalities, ensuring all potential error sources are addressed.
  • Experience in manual testing to validate software against defined requirements, identifying bugs or issues before the final deployment.
  • Understanding of functional testing to verify that each function of the software application operates in conformance with the requirement specification.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing of software products to ensure high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and automated testing scripts to support a robust quality assurance strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to understand project requirements and identify potential quality issues early in the software development process.
  • Execute various testing methods such as manual and automated tests to pinpoint defects or potential improvements.
  • Engage in regular review meetings with project teams to discuss results and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Document and report defects uncovered during the testing stages to developers for quick resolutions and fixes.
  • Ensure that all test activities align with company policies, procedures, and quality benchmarks.
  • Continuously update and maintain documentation related to testing processes and the outcomes of test cycles.
