Head Site Services Vapi 

POSITION PURPOSE

• This management position's key objective is to support the manufacturing site by ensuring availability of all operational license and permits.
• Liaise and coordinate with various governmental authority and ensure compliance with support of cross functional team.
• Involvement in strategic policy decision making process.
• Responsible for providing facility management services, general administration, security services and real estate matters at the site.
• This position serves to add to business sustainability by CSE activities and Bayer branding.

YOUR TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for availing various factory operational licenses and its timely renewal for the smooth operation of manufacturing site.
• Lead the Corporate Social responsibility functions and Bayer branding activities.
• Lead the team of employees welfare and facility management, front office, and employee services. Community engagement and facilitate recreational activities for Vapi site.
• Responsible for canteen administration and employee's transportation facility.
• General housekeeping functions of the site.
• Responsible for Real Estate related matters for the site
• To liaise and maintain a good rapport with governmental agencies like DISH, Labour department, Police, Pollution boards, prohibition dept, District collector, GIDC, NGOs, and other statutory agencies.
• Ensure legal compliance in coordination with cross functional team.
• Responsible for horticulture and greenbelt development.
• Manage and control the security functions at the site.
• Responsible for hurdle free disposal of by product/ waste
• Ensure timely renewal of all factory operational license and permits.
• Proactively act for licenses and approvals for project and expansion at site. Guide the cross functional team for maintenance of the license.
• Nurture and drive a team of administration, security, facility management, front office. Employees engagement activities with highest standard of health, safety, and environment at site
• First contact person for government authorities, association, NGOs, and local politicians. Maintain good relations with various governmental agencies, local bodies, and associations. To provide information to statutory bodies as per regulations.
• CSR activities and Bayer branding.
• Ensure audit and compliance adherence.
• Partnering in strategic decision making like business expansion, site development and factory operational policy.
• Member of site leadership team & country Business services team

WHO YOU ARE:

Master's degree, preferred in Science Chemistry or engineering (Chemical/ Mechanical/ Environment).

Minimum 15 + years of relevant experience in the fild of Factory administration operational area like liaising, licensing (preferably in chemical industry/large manufacturing set-ups /  MNCs), security, real estate, facility management.

Having regulatory knowledge of various laws related to manufacturing site.

Good communication and interpersonal/negotiation/ collaboration skills.

Strong liaising skills, stakeholder management, influencing skills, understanding skills and ability to decide priorities.

Ability to adapt change and able to work in change environment.

Capable enough to handle emergencies and crisis.

Capable in operating multicultural environment. Proven ability to manage team effectively in a global organization, energizing and enabling teams to achieve outstanding result.
