Responsibilities -

  • Complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing, and support.

  • Document and maintain requirements and functionality.

  • Analyse business requirements and assist in estimating development efforts.

  • Write well-designed, tested, and secure code.

  • Develop software verification plans.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

Undertake problem-solving and issue resolution.

  • Communicate clearly with business users and project team members.

  • Assist in automation, deployment, and monitoring activities.

Requirements -

  • An aptitude to learn and take on new challenges.

  • Experience designing and developing full-stack cloud applications.

  • Proficient in C# and .NET, with experience in REST/GraphQL APIs and asynchronous microservices Valocity | Commercial in confidence 3 of 4

  • Front-end experience with Angular 17+, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

  • Experience with Azure cloud services – including AKS (Kubernetes), Azure Front Door, App Gateway, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, and Key Vault.

  • Understanding of containerisation (Docker, Helm) and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

  • Strong grasp of software design patterns, object-oriented principles, and secure coding standards.

  • Proactive use of AI in development and environments especially co-pilot

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery, test automation (xUnit, Playwright), and monitoring tools (App Insights, Log Analytics).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and solving problems.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
