Senior AI/ML Engineer
 to join our core product team and shape the future of intelligent hiring.

Role Overview

As a Senior AI/ML Engineer at HireNema, you'll take ownership of 
end-to-end AI/ML solutions
 — from research and prototyping to large-scale deployment.

You'll be designing algorithms that not only perform at scale but also meet the highest standards for accuracy, transparency, and fairness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead
     the design, development, and optimization of AI/ML models for candidate evaluation, scoring, and ranking
  • Own the ML pipeline
    : data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring
  • Build 
    production-grade AI systems
     in Python with libraries like 
    TensorFlow
    , 
    PyTorch
    , 
    Scikit-learn
    , and 
    Hugging Face Transformers
  • Apply best practices for 
    model explainability, bias detection, and fairness
     in AI systems
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to seamlessly integrate AI into the HireNema platform
  • Mentor junior ML engineers and review their code for performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Stay ahead of AI/ML advancements and recommend practical adoption strategies

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields
  • 2+ years of professional experience in AI/ML
     with hands-on Python programming expertise
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices
  • Proven experience in building, training, and deploying ML models at scale (preferably in production environments)
  • Expertise in at least one domain: NLP, recommendation systems, predictive analytics, or computer vision
  • Proficiency with 
    Python
     data stack: Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn for EDA
  • Experience with cloud platforms (
    AWS
    , 
    GCP
    , 
    Azure
    ) and MLOps tools (
    Docker
    , 
    Kubernetes
    , 
    MLflow
    , 
    Airflow
    )
  • Ability to translate business problems into well-defined ML solutions

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in 
    explainable AI
     and building trust in AI outputs
  • Knowledge of 
    large language models (LLMs)
     and prompt engineering
  • Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects
  • Experience in 
    high-volume, high-performance systems
