Location: Leading Restaurant & Convention Centre

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and alert Security Guard to ensure the safety, security, and smooth operations of our restaurant and convention centre. The ideal candidate will maintain a secure environment for guests, staff, and property by patrolling, monitoring activities, and responding to incidents promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:Guest & Staff Safety

  • Ensure the safety and security of all guests, employees, and visitors.
  • Greet and assist visitors courteously while maintaining security protocols.
  • Manage guest entry during events, functions, and busy dining hours.

Premises Monitoring

  • Patrol the restaurant, banquet halls, parking areas, back-of-house, and external premises.
  • Monitor CCTV and alarm systems to detect unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Immediately report any safety hazards, suspicious behavior, or rule violations.

Access Control

  • Manage entry and exit of staff, vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
  • Check ID cards, visitor logs, and material movement passes.
  • Prevent unauthorized entry to restricted areas.

Event Support

  • Provide security assistance during major events, weddings, conferences, and gatherings.
  • Support crowd management and maintain orderly guest movement.
  • Handle VIP protocols and coordinate with event teams when required.

Emergency Handling

  • Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms, accidents, or disturbances.
  • Guide guests and staff during evacuations as per safety procedures.
  • Provide first-response assistance and immediately alert management/supervisors.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain daily security logs, visitor registers, and incident reports.
  • Report security breaches, maintenance issues, and operational concerns promptly.
  • Support in maintaining equipment like radios, flashlights, and security systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Security Guard (hospitality/event industry preferred).
  • Basic education; security training certification is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response, and crowd handling.
  • Physically fit with the ability to stand/walk for long hours.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and peak event days.
