We're Hiring | Mechanical Draughtsman/Jr. Engineer

Location: Vapi, Gujarat

Industry: Boiler & Pressure Vessel Manufacturing

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in boiler or heavy fabrication industry

Qualification: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or Draftsmanship

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical components, welding symbols, tolerances, and fabrication processes Familiarity with boiler codes (IBR, ASME)
• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings of boilers and pressure parts using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
• Create assembly and fabrication drawings for boiler components like drums, headers, water walls, superheaters, economizers, and other auxiliary systems
• Understand engineering sketches, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and specifications provided by design engineers
• Convert conceptual designs into manufacturing-ready drawings
• Generate and maintain accurate BOMs for all boiler components
• Ensure that all materials listed comply with project specifications and standards.
• Generate isometric piping layouts and routing details for steam, feedwater, and blowdown systems
• Prepare drawings for supporting structures, access platforms, ladders, and maintenance walkways
