Senior Agronomist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Agronomist with at least 7 years of experience in soil-based farming of turmeric, herbs, and vegetables. The role involves optimizing crop production through scientific, sustainable soil management and practical field implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage farming strategies for turmeric, herbs (e.g., basil, mint, ashwagandha), and vegetables.
• Conduct soil assessments and implement fertility improvement measures.
• Plan crop cycles, seed selection, and nutrient schedules.
• Implement organic/integrated pest and disease control methods.
• Oversee irrigation, fertigation, and water-use efficiency.
• Stay updated on agronomy trends and innovations.
• Lead on-field trials and monitor farm performance.

Requirements:

• Degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant field experience.
• Strong knowledge of soil health, organic practices, and crop management.
• Skilled in farm data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel to field locations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹50,000.00 per month
