Role Title Executive Accounts & Finance

Reports To Manager- Account & Finance

Grade M5- B / M5- A

  1. Key Accountabilities

Function Specific Accountabilities

An Accounting professional should have strong knowledge of accounting and

proficiency in handling various accounting and financial tasks. The role will be

responsible for ensuring accurate and timely closure of accounts, tax

preparation, commission calculations, and financial reporting, while also

providing support in auditing and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely closure of books of accounts each month and year-end.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.

  • Prepare TDS, GST reports.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with filing returns.
  • Prepare and calculate TDS and GST on time and ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare commission working for agents and calculate incentives based on

sales targets and achievements.

  • Handle day-to-day banking operations and ensure accurate reconciliation of

bank accounts with accounting records.

  • Prepare various types of MIS (Management Information System) reports for

decision-making.

  • Prepare monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement,

and Statement of Cash Flows).

  • Effectively communicate the analysis of these statements to the team and

management as needed.

  • Preparing year-end books for audit purposes.
  • Reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts on a

monthly/quarterly basis in accordance with the closing schedule.

  • Follow up with the sales team for outstanding collections and ensure timely

payments.

Skills :

 Accounting Knowledge: Accounting background with proven experience in

the field.

 Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Tally ERP or other accounting software.

 Taxation Knowledge: Good understanding of TDS, GST, and other related

taxes.

 Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills

across all levels of the organization.

 Microsoft Excel: Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and

complex formulas).

 Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and

other branches.
