Job Description

The Female Jockey will be the on-air presenter and voice of VIT Community Radio, responsible for engaging listeners, hosting programs, and curating content that reflects the community's interests and culture.

Responsibilities:

• Host live radio shows, including music segments, interviews, and talk shows  covering topics such as women's empowerment, health, and local issues.
• Script and prepare engaging content tailored to a diverse audience.
• Interact with listeners through phone-ins, social media, and community events.
• Collaborate with the production team to plan show schedules and themes.
• Maintain a pleasant, clear, and energetic on-air voice.
• Stay updated on current trends and community issues to keep the programming relevant.
• Follow broadcast regulations and time management protocols.

Educational Qualification:

• Degree or diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field preferred.
• Experience or strong interest in radio presenting or voice-over work.
• Confident, articulate, with excellent spoken communication skills.
• Ability to engage and connect with a diverse audience.
• Creative, responsible, and able to work flexible hours.
