Lab Technician

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in handling laboratory activities, maintaining equipment, and supporting faculty and students during practical sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain, and organize laboratory equipment, tools, and materials required for experiments and practical sessions.
• Set up laboratory experiments and assist faculty/staff during practical classes.
• Conduct routine checks, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
• Collect, label, and store samples appropriately, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Follow all laboratory safety guidelines, including safe handling and disposal of chemicals and waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory at all times.
• Keep inventory of lab supplies and initiate purchase requests to avoid shortages.
• Support students and staff by demonstrating correct lab techniques and ensuring safe usage of equipment.
• Report any damage, malfunction, or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist in periodic audits, inspections, and accreditation-related documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc. MLT) – Mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a laboratory setting (preferably in an educational institution).
• Gender: Female candidates preferred.
• Good communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently.

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on qualifications and experience)
