Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Andheri East, Mumbai (2 minutes walk from Andheri railway station)

Working Days: Monday to Friday, 2nd and 4th Saturdays

Week Off: Sundays, 1st and 3rd Saturdays

Experience Required: 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred

Gender: Open to both male and female candidates

Qualifications: Graduate in Commerce or related field

Work Type: Full-time, In-person

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support daily accounting and finance operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in finance while working in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining day-to-day accounting records (fee receipts, invoices, expenses)

Support preparation of fee invoices and follow up on payments

Help reconcile bank statements and maintain petty cash records

Record entries for accounts payable and receivable

Assist in preparing financial reports and statements

Coordinate with the head office on billing and vendor payments

Maintain organized records for audits and compliance

Respond to basic student or parent queries related to fees or payments

Support the senior accountant or finance team as needed

Requirements

1–2 years of accounting experience preferred (freshers with internship experience may also apply)

Knowledge of accounting principles and basic financial procedures

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally or similar)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
