* This is an on-site, full-time position, with working hours from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Admission Counsellor to join our dynamic team.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about international education, global mobility, and academic excellence.

You will be responsible for guiding both students applying to overseas universities and professionals pursuing specialized visas such as EB-1, O-1, and similar merit-based categories. In addition, you will assist clients in research paper drafting, publication strategy, and academic portfolio development, helping them strengthen their profiles for competitive applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end consulting for international university admissions — including profile evaluation, university shortlisting, and interview preparation.
• Guide professionals through special visa pathways (EB-1, O-1, NIW, etc.), offering structured support in documentation, profile presentation, and academic strategy.
• Assist in research paper drafting, idea conceptualization, citation formatting, and overall publication readiness for both students and professionals.
• Offer personalized support on visa documentation and application timelines.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients through clear communication, empathy, and consistent follow-up.
• Ensure timely progress on all assigned cases, meeting or exceeding performance and satisfaction targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance YMGrad's research and consulting frameworks.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preference for English, Psychology, Business, or STEM).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong ability to write, review, and edit academic or research content.
• Empathy, patience, and a student/professional-first mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple cases with attention to detail.
• Prior experience in education consulting or research writing will be an advantage (not mandatory).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
