Job Title: Deputy General Manager Commercials

Location: Bidadi

Experience: Minimum 15+ years

Candidate Preferred Industry: Solar / Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) / Renewable Energy / Manufacturing industries)

Role Overview

The Deputy General Manager Commercials will be responsible for leading and managing all commercial functions at the factory level, including
Products Dispatch, Billing, and Collections
. The role involves ensuring smooth commercial operations, accurate documentation, adherence to compliance, and timely realization of receivables. The position requires strong leadership, analytical, and coordination skills with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch Management

  • Plan and manage end-to-end product dispatch from the factory to customers.
  • Ensure coordination with production, logistics, and supply chain teams for timely delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and dispatch schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to customer contractual terms, quality standards, and dispatch documentation.

Billing & Documentation

  • Oversee the preparation and issuance of accurate invoices as per contractual agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations (GST, E-Invoicing, etc.).
  • Maintain proper documentation for dispatches, billing, and related transactions.
  • Streamline billing processes and implement automation for efficiency.

Collections & Receivables

  • Track accounts receivables and ensure timely collections from customers.
  • Coordinate with finance and sales teams to resolve disputes and payment delays.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers to ensure smooth collection cycles.
  • Prepare aging reports, monitor overdue accounts, and implement corrective actions.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with commercial policies, statutory requirements, and company SOPs.
  • Prepare and present MIS reports on dispatch, billing, collections, and receivables.
  • Support CMD in commercial decision-making through data-driven insights.

Team Management & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Lead and mentor the commercial team at the factory.
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, SCM, and Customer teams.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for all commercial matters at Bidadi location.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce / Finance / Business Administration; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in Commercial Operations, Dispatch, Billing & Collections.
  • Exposure to Solar, BESS, Renewable Energy, or related manufacturing industries preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, invoicing systems, and ERP platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure environments and meet strict timelines.
