Description

Portal Architecture & Full-Stack Development

  • Lead end-to-end architecture and development of the Customer Master Portal using:
    • Backend: Java, Spring Boot,
    • Frontend: , TypeScript/JavaScript, Redux
  • Build metadata-driven UI components, dynamic forms, admin panels, and OpCo-specific field rendering.
  • Develop modules for:
    • Customer onboarding
    • Address verification
    • Multi-address (Bill-To, Ship-To, Sold-To) handling
    • Search and advanced lookup
    • DSO approval workflows
    • Customer stewardship and exception handling
  • Ensure the portal architecture supports future expansion, configuration-driven form updates, and multi-region deployments.


2. API Development & Integration (Including Reltio MDM)

  • Develop microservices for:
    • Customer creation
    • Customer updates
    • Address validations
    • Duplicate checks
    • Workflow triggers
  • Build and maintain integrations with:
    • Reltio MDM (REST APIs, match/merge, golden record access, entity/relationship APIs)
    • CRM systems (Salesforce/Dynamics)
    • ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle)
    • Data Warehouse (Snowflake or similar)
    • Ecommerce and event management systems
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization:
    • SSO (SAML/OAuth/OpenID)
    • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
  • Ensure API design principles:
    • REST/GraphQL
    • API versioning
    • Idempotency
    • Error handling & logging
    • Rate limiting & throttling


3. Performance, Scalability & Reliability

  • Engineer a high-performing portal capable of handling:
    • Millions of customer/address records
    • Real-time validation and MDM-based checks
    • High concurrency across global teams
  • Implement:
    • Caching (Redis or similar)
    • API optimization strategies
    • Load balancing and performance tuning
    • Resiliency and retry patterns
    • Cloud-native deployment best practices


4. Technical Leadership & Team Collaboration

  • Lead a distributed team of full-stack, backend, and front-end developers.
  • Collaborate closely with:
    • Business Analysts
    • MDM architects (for Reltio design alignment)
    • Integration/ETL teams
    • QA and automation teams
    • DevOps/Cloud engineering teams
  • Conduct:
    • Code reviews
    • Design reviews
    • Architecture walkthroughs
    • Technical mentoring
  • Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, and reusable frameworks.


5. SIT/UAT Support & Deployment Readiness

  • Support testing phases including SIT, UAT, and performance testing.
  • Validate integration outputs between portal and Reltio MDM.
  • Work with DevOps teams to ensure:
    • CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
    • Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
    • Cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Oversee release readiness and production rollout.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 7–12 years of experience in full-stack engineering and enterprise portal development.
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • Java, Spring Boot,
    • , TypeScript/JavaScript, Redux
    • REST APIs & GraphQL
    • Microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience integrating with Reltio MDM APIs (entities, relationships, match/merge, golden record retrieval).
  • Experience implementing:
    • SSO (SAML/OAuth/OpenID)
    • RBAC and security frameworks
    • Metadata-driven UI behavior
  • Strong understanding of:
    • JSON, complex data models
    • Address structures and validation flows
    • Multi-address and multi-site customer structures
    • Multi-OpCo business logic
  • Experience integrating with:
    • CRM (Salesforce/Dynamics)
    • ERP (SAP/Oracle)
    • Data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS)


Good to Have

  • Experience with address validation APIs (Loqate, Melissa).
  • Exposure to Reltio workflows, survivorship, or entity modeling.
  • Familiarity with:
    • Cloud-native design (AWS/Azure/GCP)
    • Docker/Kubernetes
    • API gateways (Apigee, Kong, Mulesoft, AWS Gateway)
    • Observability (Grafana, ELK, Splunk)
