Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior AWS Data Engineer located in Bengaluru South. The Senior AWS Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines on the AWS platform. Day-to-day tasks will include working with cloud-based big data technologies, implementing ETL workflows, optimizing data systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring data quality and security. The role requires expertise in managing high-volume data processes and delivering robust solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, and EMR.
  • Expertise in Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Knowledge of database systems including SQL and NoSQL.
  • Experience in ETL processes, data modeling, and designing scalable data architectures.
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance on cloud platforms.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to work with complex data sets.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in AWS or Big Data technologies are a plus.
