Key responsibilities:

Planning, execution & validation of new projects

Operation & maintenance of plant and machines of OSD, Parenteral, SH, Warehouse, black & clean utilities

Co-ordinate with user departments and vendors for finalization of plant layout, selection of machines etc

Budgeting for proposed new projects with the help of corporate project and finance team

Budgeting for yearly operation & maintenance

Preparing and presenting weekly progress report/ weekly update report on projects & maintenance

Ensuring the statutory compliances related to projects & maintenance as per Assam Factory Act & PCB norms

Ensuring compliances of electrical inspectorate

Drive the ENCON initiatives for cost reduction and product quality

Executing cost saving and energy saving techniques, modifications to achieve substantial reduction in expenditure and completion of work within the budget

Daily interaction with team for day to day activities, updates of department

Tracking and maintaining the critical spares required for preventive & routine maintenance

Planning various maintenance schedules and lead the section heads of engineering department to ensure implementation of schedules for improving the overall reliability of equipment

Adherence to EHS policy and ensuring all safety compliances at work place for project & operational areas

Responsible for sourcing of machine, tool, consumable parts and related services

Facing customer audits and taking corrective actions as per audit requirement

Preparing reports on maintenance performance and technical data for various equipment, spare parts, labour, machines

Ensuring timely calibration of measuring instruments and control devices as per SOP

Coordinate with OEM & suppliers for supplies as per schedule and requirement

Ensure procurement, inspection(FAT), installation, commissioning & maintenance of plant machinery

To provide training to engineering team for improvement of job efficiency, enhance personal and work quality

Learn new skills and attend training programs in order to increase knowledge of trends and best practices in the industry

Follow GEP in daily work culture to enhance performance and efficiency of equipment, system and organization

Follow GMP/ EQMP practices, guidelines, schedules and SOPs

Ensure CSV & IT compliance for all manufacturing, Packing & Utility system
