Role & responsibilities

  • Maintain books of accounts and ensure timely data entry in Tally.
  • Prepare trial balance, ledgers, and final financial statements.
  • File Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
  • Handle TDS calculation, payment, and return filing (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.)
  • File GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and perform GSTR-2B reconciliation
  • Assist in preparation of audit files and support during statutory/tax audits.
  • Coordinate with clients or internal teams for collection of data and documents.
  • Draft basic replies to GST/Income Tax notices with assistance from seniors.
  • Maintain compliance calendar and ensure timely filing of all statutory returns.
  • Provide support in ROC and MCA filings.

Preferred candidate profile

  • CA Intermediate qualified.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of practical experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm.
  • Sound understanding of Income Tax and GST laws. .
  • Familiarity with utility portals like GSTN, Income Tax e-filing, TRACES, etc.
  • Good communication and basic drafting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments.
  • Detail-oriented, punctual, and willing to take responsibility.
