Our client, a leading Australian accounting and audit firm, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Audit Associate/Senior Audit Associate to join their audit team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with 
CaseWare
 software and a strong understanding of Australian accounting and taxation standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a professional and high-performing team delivering high-quality audit services.

Job location:
Bengaluru or Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage audit working papers using CaseWare software (preferably CaseWare Cloud and/or CaseWare Working Papers).

  • Conduct audits of financial statements for a diverse portfolio of Australian clients across various industries.

  • Ensure audits comply with Australian Auditing Standards (ASA) and Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).

  • Assist in planning, execution, and finalization of audit engagements under the guidance of senior managers/partners.

  • Draft audit reports, management letters, and other deliverables.

  • Liaise with client teams and internal stakeholders to gather audit evidence and clarify audit findings.

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with professional standards, budgets, and timelines.

  • Assist with basic tax compliance tasks and preparation of workpapers related to Australian taxation (e.g., GST, FBT, income tax).

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2–4 years of audit experience, preferably with clients in the Australian or similar jurisdiction.

  • Strong proficiency in CaseWare software (mandatory).

  • Solid understanding of Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards.

  • Exposure to Australian taxation requirements such as GST, FBT, and corporate tax.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.

  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
