Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Embedded Linux-based products. The role involves software development, testing, quality assurance, documentation, and customer support to ensure smooth product deployment and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Maintenance


• Develop, enhance, and maintain Embedded Linux-based products.


• Implement new features based on stakeholder requirements.


• Analyze existing hardware and software to propose innovative solutions.


• Perform debugging and troubleshooting for hardware/software-related issues.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and operations teams, to ensure smooth product deployment.

Software Development


• Develop, modify, and maintain product software.


• Design and implement UI/UX improvements for software interfaces.


• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python, Embedded C, or C++ code.


• Work with database structures and optimize database performance.

Testing & Quality Assurance


• Create and execute test cases to validate new and existing features.


• Participate in regression testing after bug fixes or new updates.


• Identify and document software defects, collaborating with the QA team for resolution.

Product Documentation & Version Control


• Maintain technical documentation, including feature specifications, software versions, and test cases.


• Track software versions and participate in release management.

Product Support & Customer Engagement


• Provide support for existing products, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.


• Engage with customers to gather feedback and improve product performance.

Additional Responsibilities:


• Additional duties may be assigned from time to time in alignment with the role and business needs.

Qualifications & Skills:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.


• Strong experience in Embedded Linux development.


• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Embedded C, and C++.


• Familiarity with database management and performance optimization.


• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.


• Experience with software testing methodologies and version control systems.


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
