Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior MEP BIM Engineer
to join our team. The role involves leading MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) design coordination, developing and managing BIM models, and ensuring the highest quality of project delivery. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical expertise in MEP systems, hands-on experience with BIM tools, and strong leadership skills to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and review detailed
    MEP BIM models
    (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) for projects in line with client and project requirements.
  • Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to ensure clash-free and efficient designs.
  • Prepare and review
    shop drawings, design drawings, and as-built documentation
    from BIM models.
  • Ensure all MEP BIM deliverables meet project standards, codes, and company BIM protocols.
  • Conduct
    clash detection and coordination meetings
    using tools such as Navisworks or similar platforms.
  • Lead and guide junior BIM engineers, modelers, and coordinators in project execution.
  • Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve design and coordination issues.
  • Support
    4D (time), 5D (cost), and 6D (facility management)
    BIM integration when required.
  • Provide technical input during project planning, design, construction, and handover stages.
  • Stay updated with the latest BIM software advancements, workflows, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
    or related field.
  • Minimum 5
    –8 years of experience
    in MEP design and BIM execution, with at least 3 years in a senior/lead role.
  • Strong proficiency in
    Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD
    , and other BIM-related tools.
  • Experience with BIM collaboration platforms such as
    BIM 360, ACC, or similar
    .
  • Excellent understanding of international codes and standards
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Ability to mentor and lead a team of BIM professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders.
