Job Title

Cluster Manager - Solar O&M

Job Purpose

Responsible for the overall operations, maintenance, and performance of multiple solar

PV sites within the assigned cluster. Ensure plant uptime, safety, compliance, and

resource optimization across sites. Lead the regional O&M team to achieve technical,

operational, and performance KPIs.

Job role & responsibilities

● Ensure optimal plant performance across all sites in the cluster.

● Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules across plants.

● Track site-level performance KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.

● Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure plant and team safety.

● Ensure that O&M activities align with company processes, safety standards, and

regulatory requirements.

● Generate periodic reports from field operations, performance analytics, and

maintenance logs.

● Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (DISCOMs, clients,

auditors).

● Plan and manage inventory for spares, tools, and consumables across all sites.

● Train, mentor, and lead site engineers and technicians.

● Support in warranty claims, AMC tracking, and equipment performance

reviews.

● Participate in internal and client meetings, sharing updates and action plans.

Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech in Electrical, EEE, or related discipline

• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in the solar O&M field

• Must have managed multi-site solar portfolios (preferably 50+ MW cumulative

capacity)

Skills required

● Strong technical expertise in solar PV systems and components

● Ability to manage field teams, vendors, and operational escalations

● Knowledge of SCADA systems, data interpretation, and troubleshooting

● Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and remote monitoring tools

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills

● Leadership capability to handle distributed teams across locations

● Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000, ₹1,500,000.00 per year
