Role :- Instrument Technician

Department: E& I

Location: Meghalaya

Qualification: ITI (Instrumentation)

Exp: 1 year experience required preferable from Cement industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance of field instruments and control systems across plant areas such as raw mill, kiln, coal mill, and cement mill sections.

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation equipment to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Calibrate and maintain pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters, as well as weigh feeders, belt scales, and gas analyzers.

Troubleshoot issues in PLC/DCS systems (ABB, Siemens, or similar) and assist engineers in system diagnostics and programming.

Inspect, test, and maintain control valves, actuators, solenoid valves, and other pneumatic and electronic devices.

Support the commissioning and installation of new equipment and instrumentation systems.

Maintain accurate documentation and calibration records for all instruments as per ISO and safety requirements.

Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and procedures during maintenance and operation.

Participate in shutdown and turnaround maintenance activities to ensure reliability and performance improvement.

Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and production teams for troubleshooting and maintenance planning.
